Community Building

NeighborWorks Great Falls knows that just building or fixing up a house does not make the neighborhood in which it sits safe or vibrant. NWGF’s Neighborhood Building program serves as a catalyst to connect neighbors, resources and organizations to build safe, vibrant, healthy and livable neighborhood in historic Great Falls and Black Eagle. The program focuses on solving neighborhood crime and safety issues, training resident leaders and developing projects to revitalize the community. For more information, click here.

Crime and Safety

NWGF has multiple projects that focus on crime and safety issues in our target neighborhoods, such as Cascade County Neighborhood & Business Watch, Coins for a Cause, Operation Medicine Cabinet: Central Montana and Code Green for Neighborhoods.

Resident Leadership

NWGF knows that skilled, engaged residents with strong community relationships can build stronger neighborhoods and make a positive difference in the community. We have two programs to provide residents with the tools to strengthen their neighborhoods: the Cascade Center for Neighborhood Leadership and the NeighborWorks America Community Leadership Institute.

Community Revitalization

Creating, building or revitalizing a neighborhood is complicated. NWGF’s Neighborhood Building program brings together residents and partners to find community solutions in two of NWGF’s target neighborhoods: Downtown Neighborhood and Black Eagle. In addition we support a number of community revitalization projects during NeighborWorks Week and throughout the year.
